Fourth Annual Meeting
The fourth annual INQRI meeting brought together three cohorts of grantees with a diverse group of engaged stakeholders. Our keynote speaker, Bob Brook, provided a fascinating take on the state of nursing with his presentation, "Disruption." We met our newest group of grantee teams and our guests provided feedback for them to consider as they begin their work. We heard updates on the National Quality Forum and learned about RWJF's new work with the Initiative on the Future of Nursing, at the IOM. For the first time, the meeting featured panel presentations from the grantees who are in the middle of their work. And, of course, we heard exciting reports from our "graduating" grantees, as they presented their study findings.
During the meeting, we also experimented with a variety of media tools in the hopes of reaching out to others who are interested in nursing and quality. We "tweeted" with followers via the INQRI Twitter site, streamed our presentations live via UStream and also recorded sessions for future viewings.
